Wäicuni Foundation

Our story.

Wäicuni \ wy-ˈkoo-nee \

This project originated in the confluence of prophecies foreseeing the need to uphold pillars of indigenous culture around the world for the benefit of all beings. The blessings of Masters and medicine elders from north, south, east, and west weave a tapestry of sacred wisdom strong enough to withstand the pressures of a planet and people in crises.

In the Uwọttüjạ tradition of the Venezuelan Amazon, Wäicuni was the child of the Goddess Chejeru and the first human entrusted to receive and protect the sacred knowledge of the Natural World. This project carries that spirit, striving to support a diversity of the world's living ancestral lineages.

Our team is comprised of individuals whose great honor it has been to collectively study for decades with teachers from ancient lineages of the Americas and Asia. These elders tasked us with the creation of a foundation capable of supporting their vision and of connecting people around the globe in an alliance of sacred reciprocity with their traditions.

After five years of operating through funding from a private foundation, our team initiated Wäicuni Foundation to carry forward their projects and amplify our impact.

Our Strategy

Time is running out for the preservation of traditional ways of life.
